Horizon Group debuts the V74 EVO, a new addition to its long-running V Series and a yacht purpose-built for Mediterranean cruising. Built by Vision Shipyard, the EVO takes a proven platform and introduces thoughtful refinements shaped by years of insight from cruising experience.
The appeal of a yacht under 76 feet (24 meters) lies in the freedom it offers to move easily between coves and harbors, entertain without fuss, and enjoy a level of onboard living usually associated with much larger models.
That input from owners, charter operators, and brokers shaped several of the EVO’s key features, starting with an open flybridge that now measures 30 feet, about 15% larger than on a standard V68. For the Mediterranean market, the space between formal and informal areas is what matters most, with the design moving away from closed-off zones toward a single, uninterrupted social space equally suited to long summer days in the sun and relaxed escapes during the quieter seasons.
Thoughtfully Resolved
Designed in collaboration with JQB Design, the V74 EVO carries a distinctive exterior profile built around its expanded open flybridge, which opens up panoramic views and allows each area to flow naturally into the next. The layout balances shaded outdoor spaces with comfortable passage-making and an interior suited to a wide range of occasions.
Performance was engineered with equal care. Extensive CFD and tank testing shaped the forward spray rails and aft chines for a clean bow wave and wake, while a fine waterline entry and controlled flare above deliver a composed ride. The V74 EVO holds CE Class A certification and is powered by twin MAN V8 engines producing 1,200hp each, giving owner-operators predictable handling and confident seakeeping over longer passages.
Residential Feel
Inside, the EVO stays true to its V Series roots. On the main deck, continuous window bands run through the salon, galley, and helm, bringing natural light and changing views into the living space. A restrained palette of beige-gray upholstery, earthy trim, and fluted detailing is paired with Calacatta Tree quartz counters and warm teak woodwork.
The galley sits centrally between the aft salon and forward helm, doubling as a gathering point without compromising its practical function.
Nearby, a U-shaped dinette wrapped in glazing offers a bright spot for morning coffee or route planning.
On the open flybridge, a second helm station supports all-weather operation, while sofas on either side create a relaxed lounge beneath an electric sunroof. A curved bar connects the covered lounge to the boat deck aft, keeping the flow of conversation and entertaining unbroken.
Below deck, the full-beam master stateroom is positioned amidships, complemented by a forward VIP and a starboard guest cabin, all appointed in a contemporary style. Crew quarters are positioned aft of the engine room to keep operations efficient and out of guest sightlines.

Available for immediate European delivery, the V74 EVO marks a thoughtful evolution of the V Series pedigree. Sized just above the V68 and engineered specifically for owner-operators, the yacht captures a superyacht attitude while staying practical, versatile, and easy to run.
