Same-Day Deliveries

Two FD Series Yachts are delivered to their American owners on the same day.
The champagne was flowing at Horizon Yacht USA’s Fort Lauderdale Hall of Fame Marina office with the recent deliveries of two FD Series yachts on the same day. The arrival of the brand new FD90 and the first FD75 with an enclosed bridge in the U.S. was cause for celebration, as the two yachts were officially presented to their American owners.

Christened Rio, the FD90 is the first Horizon yacht for the partner owners who decided to build an FD Series after having chartered a few times aboard other Horizon FD Series yachts. Designed specifically for their cruising lifestyle, the five-stateroom FD90 features an on-deck master with four flexible staterooms on the lower deck including a convertible VIP in the bow, two mirrored queens and a convertible twin. Family cruising is a priority for these owners, who customized the yacht’s plentiful deck areas for entertainment and family fun. This includes a large Jacuzzi and sunpad on the foredeck and an inviting boat deck with expansive lounging areas and a large round dining table that comfortably seats eight.

Upon taking delivery, the owners plan to cruise the Bahamas with their families after which they will head down to the Caribbean and South America to explore, dive and fish.

The new FD75 is the second Horizon yacht built for its owners, who previously owned an E73 motor yacht before moving into the high-volume FD Series. Christened Hi Life, the FD75 is the first such model to feature a Skyline enclosed bridge configuration in the U.S. The family owners worked diligently alongside the Horizon design team to specify their new yacht to meet their needs and incorporated numerous innovative touches throughout. Uniquely for this model, the galley is positioned furthest forward on the main deck, thereby eliminating the standard raised pilothouse design and presenting an open-plan feel to the main deck with a galley “atrium”. The master stateroom and ensuite is positioned furthest forward and accessed via several steps down from the galley area, while three further ensuite staterooms are found on the lower deck and comprise a midship VIP, a single twin to port and a queen stateroom to starboard. Positioning the wheelhouse on the upper deck allowed for a redesign of this entire space, which is enclosed to comprise the helm station, a full head and a lounge settee with dinette.
