The Powercat Company Sells Five Horizon Power Catamarans

Four Horizon PC60 catamarans and one PC65 have sold to American clients 

A spike in demand from both new and repeat clients converged to result in a flurry of Horizon Power Catamaran (PC) sales in recent months, including four PC60 models and one PC65.

On display at the Horizon Power Catamaran stand during the 2021 Palm Beach International Boat Show in late March, the Horizon PC60 Hull 21 was sold to a new client who visited the yacht during the show and was impressed with the four-stateroom layout and ample space to accommodate cruising The Bahamas with family and friends.

The PC60 Hull 23 is currently in build for a Florida-based couple who have owned numerous boats in the past and were drawn to the PC60 design with its full-beam, on-deck master stateroom and three comfortable staterooms accommodating six additional guests in the hulls. These owners specified the new lithium battery technology that allows the yacht’s systems to run quietly for hours – the perfect accoutrement for cruising the idyllic Bahamian islands and cays.

Longtime experienced boaters from Florida are the proud owners of the PC60 Hull 24. They chose an open salon layout for their design and positioned three large staterooms in the hulls – with the master suite encompassing the starboard hull.

Sold to extensive cruisers who have previously owned expedition yachts, the PC60 Hull 25 has been designed with a four-stateroom layout including the full-beam on-deck master suite. These clients also selected the lithium battery system, which eliminates the need for a second generator. They plan to spend their days aboard cruising the Bahamas.

Repeat Horizon PC owners moving up from their current PC60 model have contracted the new PC65 Hull 4. The clients selected the PC65 model for the additional space the layout provides. This hull will also be fitted with the Seatorque shaft system and Veem propellers, which are expected to increase speed and efficiency by 12% - 15%.

At the end of the day we are selling real estate on the water, and the quality and space of the Horizon PC satisfies and exceeds any other comparable.”
