Billed as a pocket superyacht with the versatility and space that defines the acclaimed Fast Displacement (FD) Series, Horizon Yachts is pleased to announce the sale of another Horizon Fast Displacement Series yacht to an Asian buyer this month.
Featuring a Skyline (enclosed bridge) configuration, the latest FD80 accommodates eight guests in four staterooms, including an on-deck master. Accessed through fully opening folding glass doors, the main salon takes advantage of its 22’ 8” beam and features a sumptuous L-shaped settee to port, with a convertible breakfast/dining table to starboard. A dayhead is situated aft while the fully equipped galley is located forward to port and features a pass-through window/bar that can be closed off for privacy. Large windows invite in copious amounts of light and add to the contemporary atmosphere created by the light oak wood finishes with dark wenge accents.
A unique feature for a yacht of this size, the on-deck master stateroom spans the full beam and features a skylight above the bed. A frosted glass door provides additional privacy to the en suite. On the lower deck, a large foyer leads accesses the two VIP staterooms and a convertible twin forward. Crew quarters and a beach club are situated aft of the amidships engine room.
The Skyline configuration adds yet another space for entertaining and relaxing on the bridge deck, where a semi-walkaround side deck leads from the aft boat deck and bar area forward to the foredeck, which has been fitted with seating and sunning areas.
Powered by twin MAN V8 engines of 1,200hp each, the FD80 is noted for its owner/operator capability, which is further augmented by Horizon’s proprietary High-Performance Piercing Bow and hull design. Of this latest sale, Horizon Group CEO, John Lu said, “The FD Series has seen record sales in the last four years, with twenty FD Series yachts sold and delivered to clients hailing from the U.S., Australia, Europe and Asia. We look forward to seeing more happy Horizon owners.”
