Horizon Yachts Update Regarding Coronavirus

In light of the rapidly evolving situation surrounding the novel coronavirus COVID-19, Horizon Yachts is implementing several precautionary measures out of an abundance of caution for our clients and employees.

 

OPERATIONS

HORIZON YACHTS HEADQUARTERS

Thanks to the extremely rapid response and safety protocols implemented by the Taiwanese government at the onset of the coronavirus outbreak, the Horizon Yachts headquarters and shipyards in Kaohsiung are able to continue business operations as normal.

 

HORIZON YACHT USA OFFICE

As advised by governmental authorities and for the health and safety of the Horizon Yachts clients, employees and their families, Horizon Yachts USA has limited the office hours at its Palm Beach location. Business operations will continue virtually with the majority of the employees working remotely, with in-office visits by appointment. Boat showings and sea trials in the Fort Lauderdale office will continue by appointment.

 

EVENTS

PALM BEACH INTERNATIONAL BOAT SHOW

The Palm Beach International Boat Show has been postponed from its original dates of March 26 – 29, 2020. The show has been rescheduled for May 14 – 17, 2020. Horizon Yachts will announce the lineup of boats scheduled to appear in the coming weeks.

 

HORIZON YACHTS 2020 OWNER RENDEZVOUS

The Horizon Yachts 2020 Owner Rendezvous in Key West May 14 – 17, 2020 has also been postponed to a later date. We will keep you apprised on the new date once it is available.

 

WORLD SUPERYACHT AWARDS

The 15th annual World Superyacht Awards, previously scheduled for May 15 – 16, 2020 in London has been postponed and rescheduled for September 5 – 6, 2020. The Horizon RP110 The Legion is a nominee for this prestigious award.

 

The health and safety of our entire Horizon family, from our owners and their families to our staff and friends, remains our top priority. We will continue to closely monitor the coronavirus situation and remain committed to mitigating risk wherever possible.
