Horizon Power Catamarans is pleased to announce the recent sales of three Horizon PowerCats. The latest sales – a PC52, PC60 and PC65 – were sold in the last seven months.
Christened Curulean, the PC52 has recently launched and will soon be delivered to her American owner. An avid sailor, the owner converted from a monohull sailboat to the powercat, which is powered by twin Cummins engines of 550hp each. The owner specified three types of burl wood throughout the inviting interior, which comprises three cabins including a king-size master, a large galley, beamy salon and an open flybridge with a BBQ.
En route to deliver to her Canadian owners just before the New Year, the PC60, Fruition has been customized with numerous owner-inspired innovations. Solar panels and lithium-ion batteries, for example, power the flybridge A/C and allow the boat to run without the generator. Specified with an open flybridge, this PC60 features three staterooms including an on-deck master. In this layout, the owner specified the fourth stateroom as a work/storage space complete with a butcher block work top, cupboards and a chest freezer.
Scheduled to launch in time for the 2020 Horizon Open House event in January, the newest PC65 Rabble Rouser features a tremendous amount of owner customization. Commissioned by a high-profile businessman who is an avid sailor, this four-stateroom yacht features exquisite woodworking throughout, from traditional teak-and-holly floors to customized compass rose inlays. Powered by twin CAT C12-9 diesels, the vessel has an impressive 25-knot top speed and is yet another showcase of Horizon’s ability to execute detailed and flawless customization.
