Horizon’s FD80 returns to the spotlight with the launch of the seventeenth hull, reinforcing the worldwide popularity of this high-volume design that has reimagined superyacht luxury in an efficiently streamlined form.
Available for immediate delivery in the U.S., this latest Skyline model embodies the original FD80 vision by Cor D. Rover with an elegant fusion of timeless design and modern functionality, meticulously customized by Horizon to satisfy owners’ desires for connection and closer living to the water.
Flow as One
The yacht’s design melds indoor and outdoor living, beginning with the main deck aft’s generous space. Here, a fixed-base dining table with a sliding teak top, featuring a mix of glossy and matte finishes set in a chevron V pattern, offers a perfect setting for alfresco dining.
Inside, the main salon feels warm and inviting right away, thanks to full-height windows creating an airy, light-filled space that seamlessly connects to the exterior. A custom L-shaped sofa and a natural walnut coffee table topped with Cambria Portrush stone are anchored by a luxurious hand-knotted wool rug, while European oak flooring with a bleached oil effect unifies the space with a soft, refined foundation underfoot.
This FD80’s galley features a breakfast-bar layout with a Cambria Portrush stone wall and Cambria Newport flooring. Natural walnut cabinetry conceals the integrated refrigerator, while a central island with three barstools is topped by walnut-framed lighting. For privacy or an open feel, a roller-blind partition can be deployed to enclose the space.
Signature Stays
A hallmark of the FD Series, the master stateroom on the main deck spans the entire beam and ticks all the boxes for a perfect combination of space and intimate comfort. A curved dropped ceiling framed in natural walnut stands out as a signature design element, embodying the spirit and character of this yacht. A king-size bed with a full-height headboard forms the central focal point. The entertainment wall opposite the bed features a 50-inch TV, while the ensuite includes twin washbasins centrally positioned with mirror-fronted storage lockers above.
Below deck, the forward VIP has two sliding beds, mirrors on each side, and a TV wall in a 3D carved leather panel.
A similar aesthetic is carried through to the mirrored VIPs amidships. A fully equipped laundry room features worktops finished in Cambria Portrush stone.
Two crew cabins are situated aft of the engine room, with quick access to the beach club and swim platform.
