Three Horizon New Builds Delivered in One Week.
It’s been a busy month at the Horizon Yachts USA offices, with the recent Palm Beach Boat Show and the deliveries of not one, not two, but three brand new FD Series yachts in one week!
The seven days of celebration kicked off with the christening ceremony of the tri-deck FD100, Jemily II. Commissioned by first-time Horizon owners who envisioned a spacious retreat for their family, Jemily II is a five-stateroom yacht with a beach club, tri-deck entertainment and dining level, and a contemporary interior decor. The owners specified numerous customizations to accommodate their active on-water lifestyle, from dedicated fishing, dive and bike equipment storage to the custom entertainment console in the enclosed skylounge. Accompanied by family, friends and their trusty dog, Gus, the owners plan to cruise The Bahamas and the Northeast aboard their new Horizon.
Within 24 hours, it was time to celebrate another Horizon new build – this time the FD Series yacht Issimo! This yacht commemorates her owners’ Italian heritage with an owner-specific design throughout that incorporates Mid Century Modern furniture the clients sourced themselves. The owners requested a four-stateroom layout comprised of the signature on-deck master suite with three large VIP cabins as well as a spacious custom laundry and storage room on the lower deck. Additional modifications include the incorporation of a wet bar in lieu of the standard staircase on the starboard side of the aft deck as well as a full bar, L-shaped seating and dining and large Jacuzzi tub with a waterfall feature on the boat deck aft of the enclosed skylounge. Berthed in a prominent position alongside the face dock, Issimo was the star of the 2023 Palm Beach Boat Show.
The delivery of a new FD80 capped off the exciting week. Built on spec, this four-stateroom yacht features an on-deck master, an enclosed skylounge, expansive deck spaces and a beach club plus crew quarters. This is the first FD80 model in the U.S. to feature an open galley design, which further adds to the feeling of spaciousness onboard. She is also the first FD80 to be fitted with Caterpillar 1,600hp engines and the Garmin Surround View six-camera “Birdseye” system. A Busch Light toast marked the christening of the new Sheri Lynn, aboard which her owners plan to cruise The Bahamas and southeast Florida.
