Horizon Yachts Showcasing at 2016 Palm Beach Int'l Boat Show with Five Luxury Yachts
NEWS | March 18, 2016
Horizon Yachts will showcase a total of five luxury yachts — a P110 superyacht, E88 motoryacht, E78 motoryacht, PC60 power catamaran, and PC52 power catamaran — at the upcoming 2016 Palm Beach International Boat Show, March 17th-20th in West Palm Beach, FL. This is the first Palm Beach showcase for the Horizon E88 open bridge motoryacht and the E78 motoryacht with her innovative hydraulic hardtop.
"Palm Beach has grown into a major show through the years and is one that our clients truly enjoy attending," said Roger Sowerbutts, Director of Horizon Yacht USA. "Activity has been strong since the beginning of the year for Horizon, and we've also unveiled some fantastic new designs like the FD85 fast displacement motoryacht and new RP120 superyacht, so we anticipate an extremely busy show."
Designed around owner feedback, the Horizon E88 open bridge motoryacht focuses on alfresco entertaining and fun. A new feature this model, the aft beach club design offers a hydraulic garage door and a Hi/Lo swim platform for water activities. The open flybridge design includes a full bar, grilling area, large dinette seating, and space for tender storage or sunbathing, while forward on the bow, a newly-designed dinette area and sunpads are perfect for days at anchor. With a 21' beam, the Horizon E88 provides four en suite guest staterooms, including a full-beam Master, VIP, and two twin guest rooms, as well as separate crew quarters aft of the engine for complete privacy for all on board. Equipped with twin CAT C32 1800HP engines, zero speed stabilizers, bow and stern thrusters, and more, the Horizon E88 motoryacht includes everything needed to cruise from the Northeast to the Bahamas and beyond.
With a fully hydraulic hard top and radar mast, the first of this feature on any Horizon luxury yacht, the E78 motoryacht is designed to cruise the Great Lakes with ease -- the hydraulic hardtop and radar mast may be used independently if needed but together they lower the overall height of the yacht from 28' to 20'6". A three en suite stateroom layout sleeps six guests between the full-beam master, forward VIP, and starboard twin guest staterooms, plus the E78 houses additional quarters for three crew members aft of the engines. On the main deck, her fully-equipped galley is centrally located between the aft main salon and forward pilothouse; the open flybridge provides a secondary helm for open-air piloting, as well as a place to entertain guests with a wet bar and dinette. For outdoor fun, the hydraulic swim platform can either act as small water toy storage or a place to host diving, fishing, or relaxing. The Horizon E78 motoryacht comes equipped with CAT C32 1600HP engines, zero speed stabilizers, bow and stern thrusters, and a slew of other amenities.
