New FD87 Skyline and PC65 for U.S. Market Prepare for Tank Testing

Following the delivery of the first Horizon FD87 Skyline to the U.S. earlier this year for owners, another brand new FD87 is ready for tank testing after 10 months of construction.  This new Horizon FD87 Skyline, which is an inventory yacht and available for purchase, is fully tailored inside and out for the U.S. market, offering an array of impressive amenities and features such as the walkaround sky-lounge design, beach club and of course the FD signature “High Performance Piercing Bow” (HPPB) which brings both efficient cruising speeds and excellent stability and sea keeping. 

The second PC65 power catamaran is built for a repeat Horizon owner from the U.S.; she features an open bridge design and will be sea trialing the same week as the FD87 Skyline. Hull one of the new PC65 design was shown at the 2018 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show and attracted a great deal of attention. Designed to take full advantage of the successful features of the PC60 and PC74, this PC65 showcases the expansive open bridge design with a bar, seating, grill and relaxing entertaining areas. The aft deck is equipped with a custom sun shade and swim platform, allowing the owners and their guests to easily enjoy water sports activities. There are a total of four guest staterooms, including an on deck master stateroom, and three on the lower deck level.

To ensure the safety and quality of the FD87 Skyline and PC65 luxury yachts, Horizon will conduct an extensive series of sea trails and dockside tests all under strict QC guidelines. The PC65 will be delivered to her American owner at end of December, and the FD87 is planned to complete in the end of December and will be on display at the upcoming 2019 Palm Beach International Boat Show.
