Over the last three decades, The Horizon Group has built and delivered more than 800 luxury yachts. In 2013, Horizon established a dedicated Refit Center at the Premier shipyard and, in the five short years since has provided maintenance, repair, and refit services to 23 yachts, including a 227ft megayacht. Owners of larger yachts have taken notice of the facility, with one Russian owner about to undergo annual maintenance – its 8th service at Horizon – and four yachts averaging 40 meters in length currently in the contract phase.

Ideally situated on Kaohsiung Harbor, the 656ft (200m) waterfront property includes an automatic float on/off launch barge with a 650-ton lifting capacity for yachts up to 200 feet (60m) with a 45ft (13.4m) beam. The Refit Center facilities provide a tremendous advantage for easy launch and retrieval, commissioning, final classification, sea trials, and surveying for the yachts in service at the yard.
