Horizon Yachts Ranks 10th in Top Yacht Builders According to Boat International’s 2018 Superyacht Global Order Book

Each year, Boat International’s Superyacht Global Order Book provides an in-depth and authoritative look at the new yacht build and sales activity throughout the world on yachts, both power and sail, of 24 meters (80 feet) in length and larger. According to the 2018 Global Order Book, which was released by Boat International’s Boat Pro in January, Taiwan ranks as the 4th largest yacht-producing country in the world after Italy, The Netherlands and Turkey in terms of total length of superyachts on order or in build globally, with a combined length of projects of 1,804m (nearly 6,000 feet).

Horizon Yachts accounts for 22 of the 61 projects currently in build in Taiwan, with an overall length of 612 meters (2,008 feet), and maintains its position as the 10th largest yacht builder in the world in terms of yacht length. The number of yachts in build worldwide continues to rise annually, with 2018 figures of 773 new yachts in build surpassing 2017’s total of 760 new builds.
